2011, Be Good To Me Please

It’s December 31st, 2010 at 11:33 PM.

In the span of one year, everything that could have happened, has happened.

Everyone’s celebrating and bringing in the new year.

But I’m pausing for a minute. I’m trying to save the moment just as it is, because I don’t want to grow older and have responsibilities. However, too often do I forget what great freedom comes with age.

11:48. I wish that clock would stop already. This is coming up on me too fast.

That’s just what time does. It sneaks up right behind you, taps you on the shoulder, and then you’re 18 living in your parents house going to community college…

Or you’re at Yale, Harvard, Oxford. Making a living. Making a future.

Happy New Year.
